Approximately 15 Cassin's Finches overtook Mono City today, in what has just been a great, great day. Four singers, blaring from the Lombardy Poplars. One male was banded, exciting in that we have only banded 6 male CAFI from 2000 to 2002, and all of our banding takes place from May through August - and this is January.
