Are plants wildlife? Sure they are.... This morning saw what appears to be an Astragalus sp. (Milk-vetch) blooming on the dirt road between the Lee Vining SCE substation and the Pumice Plant. Lots of the low growing purple-flowered (fuzzy pinnate leaves) plants blooming in the center of the road. First bloom I've seen in the Mono Basin this year! Owens Valley is gorgeous right now.
