Comments

Thousands of Painted Lady butterflies were migrating through Mono County today. We flushed a couple of Mallards in Channel 10 on Rush Creek. Lowest the creek has been in years. Native shurbs have crowded out the Russian Thistle that had been there! Douglas found a Rubber Boa on the Lee Vining Creek Trail. Last year was a good year for Rubber Boa sightings and the snakes appear to be back out this year, despite the cold weather.
