I found a lost soul scampering about on East Mono Lake Drive in Mono City today. Scooped it up in my tapestries and plopped it off the dwp dock. it looked up at me with an expression like 'really?' and slowly paddled away. some abrasions on its toes but it was a paddly little grebe and seemed to recognize and enjoy the turn of events.
