Yesterday (11/5) Lee Vining Creek was pretty quiet, but a Cassin's Vireo was a nice site as it foraged in a Jeffery Pine. Beat a fly to death. Today on Mill Creek delta a flock of 12 Tundra Swans circled overhead. They looked as though about to land with their feet hanging down and wings drooped. Further up creek a female Mountain Bluebird cavorted with White-crowned and Song Sparrows.
