Comments

At long last, the Yellow Warblers have arrived! Double Yippee... Possibly one of the Alaska breeding rubiginosas on their way north - very deep yellow with intense red streaking on the breast. One bright yellow lovely in the willows at Parker Creek this morning, along with Gray Flycatchers, "Western" Flycatchers and a Chipping Sparrow. Western Meadowlarks and Savannah Sparrows singing up a storm and acting a little frisky. Too many starlings and several male Brown-headed Cowbirds - awaiting the arrival of their ladies and their hosts.
