Much to my suprise yesterday morning we captured, banded and released an Ovenbird at the Mill Creek banding station. This lovely little skulker was seen throughout the day in the darkest corners of Mill Creek. I was unable to determine its age or sex, sorry! Although I was leaning towards a younger bird without conclusive evidence, just a hunch. They really have one of the most spectacular green edged flight feathers of any warblers I have seen.
