During the Chautauqua, we banded a second year (SY, born last summer) Veery and an after second year male (ASY, born at least two summers ago) Blackburian Warbler while operating our mistnets at Rush Creek. A few folks went to find them and the birds were not relocated. It was an incredibly lucky day with a blessing of orange flame from our eastern forests.
