It sounded so familiar, and triggered memories of coastal fog and the smell of eucalyptus. And another good thing about the Red-shouldered Hawk that soared and screeched as it caught a thermal upward and disappeared - was that it pulled us away from the computer and out into everything opposite of coastal fog and eucalyptus!
