Comments

This afternoon I was out near the Craters tracking the Parker Sage Grouse and ran into a Burrowing Owl perched atop a tall Sagebrush, like a little feathered puffball. It seems really late for them to be here and maybe it will try to stay around? Also, I saw a Bald Eagle down near Hot Creek. It was a 3rd year, looked a lot like an Osprey with a mottled white head. I've never seen a Bald Eagle in this plumage before.
