Exciting news, for the first time in the 5 years PRBO has been nest searching on lower Lee Vining Creek Black-headed Grosbeaks are nesting on the creek (she has 3 eggs so far). Also great news, for the first time Warbling Vireos are nesting in the restored cottonwoods on Lee Vining. These are two mid to late succesional birds now using the restored vegetation on the creek, great signs of progress.
