Comments

Must be in their early twenties? Do humans have a subadult form? DYM, dependent young males (dependent on parents for rent and food throughout their twenties?) Anyway, two hanging around mouth of Lundy Canyon. They've been around a week or so, rasberry helmet not entirely there yet. Solid patch on the throat, with some irridescent spotting to the sides and forehead w/ gray mottling on breast. Perching high, calling, feeding on Penstemon eatonii and Ipomopsis, occasional fighting, more perching & calling. Anna's are seldom seen in the Basin this time of year.
