Comments

A still, silent afternoon down on the boardwalk and not a whole lot to say. A N.Harrier was snacking on the remains (a fleshy wing) of what appeared to be an Eared Grebe, or similar size, on the boardwalk. The Harrier flushed, the wing was left. Further: One Marsh Wren, a foraging N. Shoveler, handful of living grebes, Ruddy Ducks, and one Virginia Rail furtively rooting just below the 1951 lake level sign.
