Gulls and Brine Shrimp Have Returned to Mono Lake

There are many brine shrimp in the shallow sunny water at the lake's edge. Alkali flies too. And hundreds of California Gulls have returned to the north shore, just east of the Bridgeport Tufa ponds. It feels like Spring!
