I saw what i think was the same Jaegar (immature Parasitic) near Castle Tufa flying east toward South Tufa on 9/5. Like these pictures, it had a streaky rufous wash on the nape and pale crescents at the base of the primaries on the upper and lower surfaces of the wings. It attacked two adult California Gulls while I was watching, though i don't think it got any food from them. I wonder what it thinks of brine shrimp and alkali flies? Maybe it's having better luck with the Caspian Terns that loaf at the Rush delta.
