Single Tundra Swan at the Rush Creek Delta in the afternoon, along with a few dozen Ruddy Ducks, Northern Shovelers, and Eared Grebes. Two adult Golden Eagles were also circling around over the delta, giving the ducks a fright. In the little pond/backwater area at the eastern edge of the delta there were four coots and two female Bufflehead. There were also many dead grebes in the reeds there, including two Western Grebes and two Horned Grebes. I've yet to see a living Horned Grebe at Mono.
