Northern Mockingbird and Swamp Sparrow at County Park on 11/14

This morning at about 8am a Loggerhead Shrike was chasing a Northern Mockingbird over the sagebrush along the northern border of the Thomson Ranch (the meadows and cottonwoods norther of County Park). At the end of the boardwalk at County Park, there was a single Swamp Sparrow skulking in the willow thickets. It was very responsive to pishing, and came in for very close looks.
