My mom and I went out to "owl meadow" and the five Short-Eared Owls were still there, divebombing into the grass and calling raspily. The Prairie Falcon also flew by, as did about 20 Canada Geese. Also, there was an unseasonal Western Meadowlark hanging out at the end of the County Park boardwalk. I guess the mild weather must be making for all these unseasonal winter sightings lately?
