A wonderful day on Rush Creek today, sun in my face. I saw one of my birds, a Willow Flycatcher that fledged on August 21. This is the latest I've ever seen a local bird on Rush Creek. I also encountered multiple Gambel's White-crowned Sparrows, my firsts for the season. I haven't been here since August, so perhaps others have been seeing them. But I didn't notice any posts for them. Yellow Warblers still present, but waning.
