Volunteer for the Eastern Sierra Watershed Project

Every fall and spring local middle school kids head to the creeks for a field day studying stream science. In Mono County, Mono Lake Committee staff and volunteers run these full day science labs teaching how to identify and maintain healthy watersheds. There are nine lab stations in all including macro-invertebrate identification, stream flow monitoring, and measuring dissolved oxygen levels.
