Realizing the Vision

A vision for the future

The Mono Basin Outdoor Education Center
will combine science-based environmental education,
outdoor experiences, and hands-on restoration activities
to inspire stewardship of natural and urban watersheds.

This proposal is about a very special environmental education program that brings the youth and spirit of urban communities to the source of their water. It is about meaningful outdoor experiences that forge lifelong connections to the land and its water. It is about the power of diverse young people to make a difference in their own lives and the world around them. It is about an exciting change in history, embracing the public trust, and the opportunity to create a remarkable legacy of education. It is about creating the Mono Basin Outdoor Education Center.
