Welcome to our photo gallery celebrating the Mono Lake Committee's first 25 years of work to save Mono Lake! This collection of 25 photos is a retrospective of where we--and Mono Lake--have been, and is also a tribute to the many people who helped protect Mono Lake. It is also forward looking--the solutions that worked in the past must work even harder in the future. A future that holds many more people competing for finite sources of water; a future requiring us to reduce our consumption, reuse, and recycle our water supplies if we are to keep Mono Lake--and places like it--alive. Enjoy the gallery! 25th Anniversary Essay by Geoff McQuilkin
