Los Angeles received over 21 million dollars
from the State and Federal government in
1994 for water reclamation projects like the
one shown here. Facilities like the West Basin,
East Valley, and San Gabriel water recycling
plants recycle water which replaces Mono
Basin diversions, and by re-using water
instead of wasting it, they reduce harmful
run-off to the ocean.
