Monolake.org is a winner!

If you’ve poked around our new-and-improved Mono Lake Website, you probably already know that, but now we have it “in writing.” Last month we entered our website into the Adobe-TechSoup Show Your Impact design contest, and we came in as a runner-up in our category!
Many thanks to all of you who visited the contest site to vote for the Mono Lake Website. Your votes paid off! We will get a free Adobe Creative Suite Premium software package, which normally would cost us nearly $2,000. That means that more of our staff will be able to keep producing the informative and attractive publications you have come to expect from us.
Here’s what the contest organizers said about us: “We were truly moved and inspired by all the excellent work that you are doing and the positive impact that you are having on the community you serve.”
Along with the other contest winners, www.monolake.org will be featured on the Show Your Impact website starting May 27. Check us out there, along with the other deserving and inspiring winners!
