Share your Mono Lake photos on the Mono Lake Website
August 4th, 2010 by Arya, Communications DirectorDid you catch an Osprey in flight with a fish in its talons … a beautiful sunset in a tufa grove … a flower show up Lundy Canyon … a natural history mystery … a beautiful rainstorm over the Mono Craters? There are 86,400 seconds in a day, which means there are about that many great photographs to be taken at Mono Lake every day. We know there are some amazing photographs taken by Mono Lake Committee members and friends, and we’d love to see them.
So, you can now share your Mono Lake photos on the Mono Lake Website!
It’s simple: upload your photos to the Mono Lake Flickr group, and they are randomly chosen to appear here in this constantly rotating slideshow! Step by step directions for uploading photos to the right spot are here. And be sure to check out other great shots of Mono Lake here.
In my position as Communications Director for the Mono Lake Committee I am always looking for good new shots of the Mono Basin for the Newsletter, Website, and even the Mono Lake Calendar, and the Mono Lake Flickr group is one place I go to find photos to help spread the word about this beautiful and amazing place. So, if you can’t be out there snapping shots, be sure to get them out here for us all to see!
