Live weather information from Lee Vining only working intermittently

The Mono Lake Committee’s “live” Lee Vining weather data has not updated consistently lately. We are planning to replace the computer that gathers that data this spring, however the “live” weather data on this website may be out of date until that occurs.

In the meantime, you can instead track our daily weather observations that we send to the National Weather Service every morning. This is the official weather from Lee Vining, and while it isn’t updated every ten minutes, it is usually updated every day. Be aware that the data is preliminary—if it contains a mistake, when that mistake is corrected, it is not shown here. But it provides a good indication of what the weather was like on most days during the past month.

Yay for the new computer! I miss the “live” data.
