Inyo National Forest campground opening dates

Spring is here with high winds, new green leaves on the trees, almost-blooming desert peach, and fishing season opening on Saturday, April 25. That means that Inyo National Forest campgrounds will be opening soon (Mono Basin campgrounds in bold):

Campgrounds open by April 24:

Campgrounds open by May 8:

– New Shady

Campgrounds open by May 22:

– High Sierra Camp
– Glass Creek
– Deadman
– Hartley
Aspen
Big Bend
Junction
Tioga
Ellery

All other national forest campgrounds will open by June 13. All established opening dates are subject to change pending weather conditions.
