Comments on: July, the new January? A refreshing collection of all things Mono Lake brought to you by the Mono Lake Committee staff Wed, 09 May 2018 21:28:06 +0000 hourly 1 By: Philippa Calnan Mon, 27 Jul 2015 03:30:27 +0000 Wow, beautiful photos, but July?? amazing! Who knows what the future holds, freesia in February?

By: Jill T. Fri, 24 Jul 2015 23:34:26 +0000 I agree there is no normal to our weather any longer. The only thing that still happens on the old schedule is the sunrise/sunset/&moon showing up. Otherwise, there is no predictable pattern to what the skies have in store for us.

By: Anne Sinclair Fri, 24 Jul 2015 12:09:25 +0000 We were there before the snow came in really hot weather. Unbelievable. Saw the penstemons, paintbrushes and orchids of spring while at Mono, not found in the UK. Loved it all and so glad for the “water fall from the sky” kind regards Nanne xx

By: Ron L Thu, 23 Jul 2015 16:28:50 +0000 Was at Saddleback lake the 2nd week of June. Couldn’t believe how low the water level was. Great to see snow in the area…. hope another 15-20 ft comes this winter

By: Wally Roberts Thu, 23 Jul 2015 14:31:55 +0000 Hopefully, this very unusual and significant weather event indicates an El Nino winter is coming. It took some unusually warm water to keep life in that tropical storm. Ramona in San Diego county received over 4 inches of rain.

NICE Bartshe!
