Quick report: Mono Lake at Cop21

Communications Director Arya Degenhardt sent this photo and quick report while on vacation at Cop21 in Paris:

“While exact outcomes remain to be seen, the atmosphere at Cop21 remains positive and optimistic. It has been quite an experience to be here, especially for the water-supply related discussions. Stories of long-term, forward-thinking, citizen-based perseverance like the ongoing Mono Lake story have provided hope and inspiration here in Paris. As this photo was taken, UN delegates were entering negotiations—some clearly knew Mono Lake, and gave us a lively cheer!”
