Comments on: Mono Lake Committee launches #LongLivetheGulls campaign A refreshing collection of all things Mono Lake brought to you by the Mono Lake Committee staff Sun, 20 May 2018 21:12:37 +0000 hourly 1 By: Pitbull Lover Thu, 23 Feb 2017 19:08:48 +0000 Shoot the coyotes? Really? The coyotes have enough difficulty surviving without such a terrible “solution”. A fence, though pricy, is a humane solution to the predation problem. The coyotes can continue to survive, and the seagulls will be safe.

By: dennis flaherty Thu, 23 Feb 2017 18:41:38 +0000 the answer is too simple. Send out a couple of huntersand shoot the coyotes. They are predators and all you need is a hunting license to shoothem. There is no limit. Make sure they are experienced hunters. You don’t need to spend money building a fence. These are just Coyotes going into the ‘hen house’, or ‘gull’ house if you will.

Easy as that!
