Sunset South Tufa Tours

Join a naturalist-guide for a sunset walk among strange tufa towers, bubbling springs, birds, wildlife, brine shrimp, and the behind-the-scenes story of the most unusual lake in California.

This guided, one-hour walk is great for kids and all ages. Our experienced guides will share some of Mono Lake's unusual natural history as well as the story about efforts to protect this nearly million-year-old lake. We recommend you make reservations for this popular tour.
