California Water Plan
Update
Bulletin 160 is revised every 5
years. The Mono Lake Committee provided comments on the last revision in
1998 (click here for B160-98 MLC Comments
(1998)). Release of the 2003 revision was delayed due to the change
in administration. The
final version came out at the end of January 2006.
The following graph (courtesy of the Pacific Institute) shows that increases in water use efficiency can provide more water for the environment. It is this type of information we hope to get into the water plan.
