SUMMARY:Mono Lake County Park Bird Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join a naturalist-guide for an easy stroll through a variety of habitats including wetlands\, willows\, sagebrush scrub\, and cottonwood trees. This location provides excellent opportunities for birding and general sightseeing. Meet at the Mono Lake County Park parking lot (directions below). This guided\, 1.5–2 hour walk is appropriate for all experience levels and age groups. Friday tours are led by a Mono Lake Committee naturalist and Sunday tours are led by a California State Parks ranger. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nReserve your spot\n\n\n\n \n\n     \n\n\n\n\n\n\nDetails\n\n\n\nPrice: Tours are free. Access to Mono Lake County Park is free. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAdditional information: \n\n\n\n\nMeet in the parking lot at Mono Lake County Park.\n\n\n\nTours are free\, but reservations are recommended to secure your spot.\n\n\n\nDogs are not allowed on the boardwalk.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDirections to Mono Lake County Park\n\n\n\nFrom Highway 395 turn onto Cemetery Rd (follow signs for County Park/Mono Lake access\, 5 miles north of Lee Vining). Continue straight for about 0.3 miles and park in the parking lot on your right. \n\n\n\nWhat to bring\n\n\n\nPlease bring binoculars if you have them\, sun protection (sun hat\, sunscreen\, sunglasses) and plenty of drinking water.
