SUMMARY:Giving Tuesday at Mono Lake
DESCRIPTION:You did it! $30\,000 matched for Mono Lake.\n\n\n\nWe have met our $30\,000 match goal for Giving Tuesday! Thank you so much to everyone who helped us achieve this incredible milestone. You can still help us make this a record-breaking Giving Tuesday for Mono Lake. Every donation goes directly toward our protection\, restoration\, education\, and scientific research work here at Mono Lake. \n\n\n\nThank you for your support and Long live Mono Lake! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDONATE\n\n\n\n\n\nTRACK OUR PROGRESS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nwhen you donate to the Mono Lake Committee for Giving Tuesday\, your donation will be doubled! A longtime member named Joan wanted to inspire fellow Mono Lake lovers to give an extra gift this Giving Tuesday\, and she has generously offered to match all funds raised\, dollar for dollar\, up to $30\,000\, now through November 30. \n\n\n\nThat means every donation goes twice as far—to protect everything from the tufa towers and wide open spaces of the Mono Basin to the nesting California Gull colony on the islands\, to restore Rush\, Lee Vining\, Mill\, Parker\, and Walker creeks and the fish and wildlife that depend on them\, to educate and inspire the next generation of water decision makers\, and to support the scientific research that guides all of the actions we take for Mono Lake. \n\n\n\nAlso\, mark your calendar—at 6:20am PST on Giving Tuesday morning Rose and Nora will be bringing you our traditional livestream of sunrise from the shore of Mono Lake! Thank you for everything you do for Mono Lake—your support is what makes all of the Mono Lake Committee’s work possible. We hope you’ll take this opportunity to double your donation now through Giving Tuesday. \n\n\n\n\nDONATE\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTop image courtesy of matching donor Joan.
