SUMMARY:Mono Lake South Tufa Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join a naturalist-guide for a sunset walk among strange tufa towers\, bubbling springs\, birds\, wildlife\, brine shrimp\, and the behind-the-scenes story of the most unusual lake in California. This guided\, one-hour walk includes hands-on activities\, and an overview of the human and natural history of Mono Lake appropriate for all age levels. Advance reservations are required. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nREGISTER\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDetails\n\n\n\nDate: Fridays and Saturdays at 6:00pm\, April 30–June 12  \n\n\n\nPrice: Tours are free\, but there is a $3 per person entrance fee to the South Tufa Area. Reservations are required. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCOVID-19 protocols: \n\n\n\nParticipants must wear masks at all times on the tour and social distancing between groups is required.Due to current California health restrictions\, South Tufa tours are only available for two households (up to 5 people per household) at a time. Upon arrival at South Tufa\, we will require participants to sign a COVID-19 release waiver.
