Welcome to the Mono-logue, a blog-style news forum brought to you by the Mono Lake Committee staff! Wonderful things are happening every day at Mono Lake, and The Mono-logue is how we can bring them to you as they happen.
We hope the Mono-logue will be like opening the door of the Committee to you wherever you may be. For example, through the Mono-logue you’ll find the great regional information you can get by talking to the person at the front counter. You can read Greg’s hydrology reports moments after he gets back from the creeks, and when Mono Lake appears in the media, Arya will post about it right away.
You’ll also be able to get a more complete picture of the Mono Lake Committee’s work. When Bartshe comes across an insightful LA Times article about California’s water supply, he’ll post it to the Mono-logue and connect it to Mono Lake. And Lisa can report about the health of Rush Creek when she gets back from a restoration project in the field.
You may even catch glimpses of Committee life you’ve never seen before, like the arrival of the summer interns, or special visitors throughout the year. In short, the Mono-logue is our way of sharing with you the work we do and the lives we lead for Mono Lake.
