Brand new restoration T-shirts for August 31st event!

This post was written by Max Henkels, 2013 Mono Lake Intern.

Our final restoration event of the 2013 summer will take place Saturday, August 31 and we have a brand new Mono Lake restoration volunteer T-shirt for anyone who joins us.

Restoration Specialist Greg Reis will talk about the Committee’s restoration vision for Mill Creek and the north part of the Mono Basin. Then we’ll head out to the Wilson diversion system to tackle some recently-spotted invasive tamarisk plants.

Free lunch and a T-shirt will be provided to all volunteers. You can check out the shirt design below, created by our talented intern Bryce Tiernan. If you miss out, don’t worry—there are plenty more for next summer’s events!
