About Us
The Mono Lake Committee is the 16,000-member grassroots non-profit organization focused solely on Mono Lake. We work to protect Mono Lake for future generations, heal the damage done by excessive water diversions, educate the public about balancing the water needs of people and the environment, and support scientific research in pursuit of these goals.
