| Highway 395 | OPEN | Highway 395 is fully closed between State Route 108 (Sonora Pass) and just south of Burcham Flat Road while crews install two wildlife crossings underneath the road. Drivers must use the following detour: Take Highway 182 in Bridgeport, which turns into Nevada Route 338 across the state line. At the terminus of Nevada Route 338 in Wellington, Nevada, drivers will turn west on Nevada Route 208 toward Holbrook Junction, where they will rejoin Highway 395. Drivers traveling over Highway 108 (Sonora Pass) or Highway 89 (Monitor Pass) intending to go south on Highway 395 will first have to drive north to Holbrook Junction and then follow the detour south. Highway 395 will reopen at 6:00am on 5:00pm on Saturday, September 21. (This is a two-day extension announced at 4:00pm on Sept. 18 due to rain in the forecast.)
