Join Yosemite National Park Ranger Brian Scavone as he shares stories about the skies and stars over Mono Lake. Meet at South Tufa Kiosk and bring something to sit on and warm clothes. Join a naturalist-guide for a mid-morning walk among limestone tufa towers, bubbling springs, birds, wildlife, brine shrimp, and the behind-the-scenes story of the most unusual lake in California. This guided, one-hour walk includes hands-on activities, and an overview of the human and natural history of Mono Lake appropriate for all age levels.
