Thanks to the support of more than 450 members and supporters, we achieved our goal of raising $50,000 to be matched for Mono Lake.
That’s the biggest match we’ve ever had for Giving Tuesday! In total, you helped us break our Giving Tuesday fundraising record and raise more than $120,000 to protect Mono Lake, restore its tributary streams, educate the next generation of decision makers, and support scientific research in the Mono Basin. We’re especially grateful as our fight to raise Mono Lake to its mandated healthy level reaches a new intensity.
It was such a great Giving Tuesday for Mono Lake, starting with a livestream of the gorgeous sunrise from the shoreline (which you can enjoy below), and finishing with an outpouring of support from people like you, near and far.
