Sunrise light on a grove of tufa towers emerging from the water of Mono Lake with soft green and dusty-red wild grasses in the foreground, Canada geese in the shallow water with reflections of the rocky towers, and desert hills in the distance.

Holiday shopping that supports Mono Lake

This post was written by Erika Obedzinski, 2008 Office Director.

Thank you to all of you that have been doing some of your holiday shopping through the Mono Lake Committee! We appreciate the support this generates both in getting the word out to others about Mono Lake and the revenue it generates, especially in this tough economic time.

We’re all set up to get orders out quickly, so if there’s something you’d like to buy through the Committee’s online store, or from our fall catalog in the latest Newsletter (there’s lots of fun stuff on pages 16-23) or something you’ve seen in the store before and think we might have, just call (760) 647-6595 or email us and we’d be glad to help out. And as always, the Information Center & Bookstore is open from 9:00am – 5:00pm 7 days a week through the winter, so if you’re headed this way, don’t forget to stop in and say hello! Happy Holidays to all of you and thanks again for your support – it makes all the difference for Mono Lake!
