Sunrise light on a grove of tufa towers emerging from the water of Mono Lake with soft green and dusty-red wild grasses in the foreground, Canada geese in the shallow water with reflections of the rocky towers, and desert hills in the distance.

Mono Lake from above

Take a look at Mono Lake from above, courtesy of Venue, a new project of the Nevada Museum of Art.

Over the next fifteen months, Venue will travel around North America exploring the continent. The project aims to provide venues for exchanging ideas in rural places since so many interesting ideas, people, phenomena, projects, and places can be found far from cities … just like Mono Lake!
