“American Dipper” by Lisa Walraven.

Artist Lisa Walraven of North Carolina creates joyful, distinctive paintings of birds and other animals. Drawing from her work in wildlife rehabilitation and as a bird bander, Walraven’s love of the natural world is evident in her simple yet evocative work. We are excited to feature Walraven’s paintings in our current gallery show.

“I wish they all could be California Gulls” by Lisa Walraven.

Walraven’s show at the Mono Lake Committee gallery depicts the bold, beautiful avian life found at Mono Lake—from raucous gulls to peaceful dippers, and many more. Come visit the Mono Lake Committee gallery to see Lisa Walraven’s work. We are currently open from 9:00am to 5:00pm every day.
