Mono Lake from above

June 25th, 2012 by Elin, Communications Coordinator

Take a look at Mono Lake from above, courtesy of Venue, a new project of the Nevada Museum of Art.

Over the next fifteen months, Venue will travel around North America exploring the continent. The project aims to provide venues for exchanging ideas in rural places since so many interesting ideas, people, phenomena, projects, and places can be found far from cities … just like Mono Lake!

Nice! That’s South Tufa on the right and the East Navy Beach lagoon (I think) on the left, earlier this year. It’s shrunk some since.

  2. David Carle Says:

Or maybe that’s the lagoon off 10 mile road, on the northeast shore?
