Meet at the Mono Lake Committee at 8:30am this Saturday, September 15 for the Great Sierra River Cleanup—we’ll be cleaning up the shore of Lundy Lake Reservoir! Please wear closed-toed shoes, be ready for fall weather, and bring water. We’ll provide the snacks.
The Great Sierra River Cleanup is one of the largest and most successful annual volunteer stewardship events in the Sierra Nevada. During the past three years of the event more than 11,200 volunteers have joined together to remove overĀ 526 tons of trash and recyclables from watersheds throughout the Sierra Nevada. Contact Rose at (760) 647-6595 if you are interested.
