Old MarinaOld Marina is one of the easiest spots to get a quick glimpse of Mono Lake. Located just off Highway 395, Old Marina hosts several large tufa towers as well as an astounding view of Mono Lake's large islands. There is a short trail to the water's edge, and (coming soon) a handicapped-accessible path leads to the David Gaines Memorial Boardwalk. Also opening in 2009 is a trail to the Mono Basin Scenic Area Visitor Center.
