Join a naturalist-guide for a sunset walk among strange tufa towers, bubbling springs, birds, wildlife, brine shrimp, and the behind-the-scenes story of the most unusual lake in California. This guided, one-hour walk includes hands-on activities, and an overview of the human and natural history of Mono Lake appropriate for all age levels. Advance reservations are required.

Date: Fridays and Saturdays at 6:00pm, April 30–June 12
Price: Tours are free, but there is a $3 per person entrance fee to the South Tufa Area. Reservations are required.
COVID-19 protocols:
- Participants must wear masks at all times on the tour and social distancing between groups is required.
- Due to current California health restrictions, South Tufa tours are only available for two households (up to 5 people per household) at a time.
- Upon arrival at South Tufa, we will require participants to sign a COVID-19 release waiver.
- If anyone in your group does not comply to these standards, the guide can cancel the tour or ask you to leave.
