This spring, look for Mono Lake Committee Board Chair Sally Gaines on bottles of wine at your local grocery store—Barefoot Wine & Bubbly is featuring Sally as one of seven “Soles of the Year” on their special Impression Red Blend wine!
Barefoot supports local non-profits as part of their business model, and they found seven people who have made an impression in their communities to help celebrate the Impression Red Blend. They even made this great little animated video featuring Sally and the Mono Lake story … it’s really great. When we watched it here in the office for the first time some of us even teared up. Check it out!
Ten years ago, Barefoot Ambassador Randy Arnold spent a summer as the Birding Intern at Mono Lake, and he has stayed in touch and donated wine and bubbly to many fun events ever since. When Barefoot rolled out the Soles of the Year campaign, Randy suggested Sally.
