Holiday shopping: Bath & body products

This post was written by Julia Frankenbach, 2013 Project Specialist.

With the holiday season comes drier, colder weather that can leave skin rough and chapped. The Mono Lake Committee has several solutions that can save winter-weather skin while also supporting Mono Lake. Come to our Information Center & Bookstore, browse our online fall catalog, or call (760) 647-6595 to order wonderful sunscreens and lip balms by Badger.

Badger products are certified 100% natural and 87% organic, so you can feel good about what you put on your skin—baby’s skin too. The broad spectrum SPF 30 sunscreen comes in either an aloe vera scent or a chamomile-calendula scent for babies. The Badger cocoa butter lip balm comes in three scents: cocoa, pomegranate, or mint.

As the Mono Lake Committee’s Canoe Coordinator last summer, I spent a good amount of time outdoors in the sun and wind. I was never without Badger lip balm and sunscreen! Try the cocoa lip balm for a warm, buttery feel, the pomegranate for a fruity hint, or (my favorite) the mint for a burst of freshness. These products last a long time and deliver natural hydration through all seasons. They also make excellent gifts for the holidays.

Stop in to the Mono Lake Committee Information Center & Bookstore to try our samples. Happy holidays!
